Holiday Inn Express Shenzhen Futian Center By IHG

The ac does not work .. I stay a whole day with 26 degree.. the solution of the hotel? To open the window ... Worst hotel ever

Location, room and early checkin

Non

The Hotel looks rather new and modern. The rooms are very big and convenient. The breakfasts are wonderful. There are European food as well as Chines. The situation is very good. It is located in Futian district, which is a financial center of Shenzhen. It takes around 20 minutes by foot to the Subway station close to Coco shopping mall. There are small cafes and shops around. The view from upper floors is amazing.

The hotel tried to charge the payment before I arrived, although the payment term was "payment upon arrival". I was going to pay from a different card, and there was not enough money on the card, the hotel withdrew all the money from my card and kept withdrawing all the amounts I transferred to it, telling me that they didn't receive any payment from me. That was a nightmare. Perhaps, there was a problem between banks' communication. Hovewer, if the hotel had charged payment upon arrival according to the payment term, it would have saved me from a lot of stress.

Suspended pool

Coffee machines unplugged before the ending of breakfast time

The hotel is very clean and staff were good. Specially Simon at the reception desk is very helpful. He is always in welcoming mood. room was super clean with all amenities. Amazing breakfast. Nothing to complain about

The check out was a bit delayed. As they needed clearance from house keeping. Kept me waiting and never bothered to tell me they gave clearance unless I went and double check. Was expecting a goodbye smile from the reception desk. But missed it.

The hotel is new and clean, and the facility is good.

Not a walkable location to the metro station.

This modest sized hotel on a quiet street in central Shenzhen is a convenient short taxi or long walk to Coco Park with a vast amount of restaurants at all price ranges. Our room had a great view overlooking a golf course and of the skyline. The breakfast was fine and the dining had another great view. It also had a self-laundry.

For the price and location I would not expect anything more.

Location and staff.

The room was poorly insulated, and there was a lot of noise from outside. I also felt the humidity.

Everything was perfect, from professional staff and service to tasty meals and accomodations.

The rooms are big, very clean, and the shower is excellent. Very good location.

There are no lockers for you to put your clothes in if you are staying longer than a couple of days.

The location, rooms, aesthetic, views & flexibility to keep our bags for 2 days even after the stay is over

Most staff don’t speak English, a couple do

Very clean, friendly staff

Rooms could be more spacious, more vegetarian menu in breakfast

Neatness

Late checkout not entrained Breakfast is not that good No iron box

Hotel is very clean. Check-in, check-out was fast. Elevators were fast. Breakfast was good. Room had good design. Nice view from our room and from the dining hall.

There was not much to explore within 500meter vicinity. Nearest train station is about 20 min walk away. But if you're willing to take a cab, it's great.

Breakfast is good with non veg options, for vegetarians they have little options but still overall is good, staff is also very helpful, there is available wify but not working.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an absolutely wonderful experience! First of all, the location is perfect – it’s very close to the city center, making it easy to explore all the main attractions on foot. The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Every morning, we were treated to an excellent and varied breakfast with plenty of options to choose from – it was a great way to start the day. What truly stood out, though, was the staff. They were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We arrived late at night, but they greeted us with a smile and quickly checked us in. Throughout our stay, they went above and beyond to accommodate all our requests, making us feel truly cared for.I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. It’s a fantastic place to stay, and I would definitely return!

The only small downside was that we stayed in February, and the weather was quite chilly. We found it a bit difficult to adjust the air conditioning to warm up the room properly. It wasn’t a major issue, but it was a little uncomfortable at times.

Great hotel, with great location. Room was pretty big and clean, breakfasts were tasty, gym equipped with sufficient training gear to do great workout

Well reception couldn't speak English, but that was not a huge problem since everyone of us can use translator apps those days!

Clean and breakfast

The light from the mini fridge during the night is no good for a good sleep

I like the convenience and the last two times I stayed here, it was comfortable and clean.

2 cockroaches appeared in our bathroom!!!

Location, value for money (includes breakfast), clean

Ok with minimal amenities but my room had no fridge and we weren’t able to chill our bottled water. Some issues with check in, apparently there was a duplicate booking in system
